GIVING BACK

Projectiles is not just about the projectile of a dart, chornhole bag, or axe.  We love our beautiful community and environment which is why we have an impelling drive to support and give back to both.

We share our hometown of Mio, MI with the AuSable River.   The AuSable is known for its high water quality, scenery, recreational opportunities, coldwater fishery, and historic and cultural significance.  The river alone attracts the majority of visitors to our small town.  These are the same visitors who make up half of our customers. This is why we are committed to a once-a-month clean-up day along the river in an effort to maintain its pristine beauty.  One day a month, we sport our waders and hit the waters armed with bug spray and garbage bags.  In 2021, we cleaned 87- 55 gallon bags of garbage out of the river. 

Our effort to support the environment continues with our commitment to the planet.  In 2020, we joined 1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet certifies that at least 1% of Projectiles sales go directly to nonprofits working to protect our shared resources. We are proud to have contributed to the 32 million dollars raised in 2020.

More importantly, is our commitment to our local families.  Living in a small town does not mean our families should lack support.  His Love Family Resources is a non-profit, faith-based resource center dedicated to nurturing families.  Projectiles has committed to donating 1% of the monthly sales to His Love Family Resources.  In addition to the monetary donation, Projectile employees who volunteer with the non-profit are paid their hourly wage for each hour they volunteer up to 10 hours a month.

This is our town and our planet and we can support both because of the support we receive from our customers.  We thank all of you for your continued support.
